The rumours of Yuzvendra Chahal dating RJ Mahvash found fresh fuel during a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, where Chahal made a playful remark about his alleged romance. When the topic came up, he joked about the whole country being already aware of the relationship. Moreover, Rishabh Pant, also on the show along with Abhishek Sharma and the Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir, joined in on the fun, teasing Chahal as a “free man” now.

In the same episode, comedian Krushna Abhishek, dressed in his usual comic disguise as a woman, sat beside Chahal and cheekily called him "Juicy Chahal." He nudged the conversation toward the bowler’s viral posts with RJ Mahvash, playfully commenting on how Chahal seemed nervous. Adding more to the fun, Kiku Sharda pretended to rummage through Chahal’s belongings and questioned the presence of a lipstick mark on his shirt.

“Why are you scared now? You don’t seem scared on Instagram!” Krushna quipped. “What’s going on, Mr. Chahal? Who is she? The entire nation wants to know,” the second comedian further teased Chahal.

The cricketer, meanwhile, kept the tone light as he played along the conversation. Chahal in his response did not deny, instead talking about how the entire nation already knows. Moreover, Rishabh Pant also chimed in, reminding everyone that Chahal is "free" now. Pant's comment comes after Chahal's divorce from Dhanashree Verma was confirmed earlier this year.

“India already knows," Chahal said as he responded to the playful queries on the show. “He’s free now,” Pant chimed in, alluding to Chahal’s recent divorce.

Speculation around the relationship of Chahal and Mahvash gained traction last year. Mahvash was seen supporting Chahal during IPL 2025 matches, even those he didn’t play due to injury. Their joint public appearances, dinner outings, and travel glimpses shared online further sparked dating rumours. Mahvash’s frequent appreciation posts for Chahal and a recent advertisement they starred in together added more weight to the speculation.

Chahal and Dhanashree Verma legally parted ways on March 20, 2025. Reports suggest the couple had been living separately since 2022. Around that time, cryptic social media updates from both parties had led to public curiosity about their relationship status. Moreover, RJ Mahvash recently responded to trolls who accused her of using Chahal for clout. While she clarified her presence at IPL matches and her association with the cricketing fraternity, the influencer did not deny the link-up rumours with Chahal. Mahvash reiterated her stance of being just a friend and spoke about supporting him despite the allegations circulating on social media.
