Willain hails Chelsea's new signing, compares him with Lamine Yamal

Former Chelsea player and Brazilian winger Willian has compared the new Chelsea signing, Estevão, to Barcelona’s emerging talent, Lamine Yamal. Willian noted that Estevão has immense potential and believes he can help Chelsea win titles, just as Yamal has delivered two consecutive standout seasons with the Catalan club.

Speaking to the media, Willian pointed out that the player has a style similar to that of Yamal and possesses great potential. He also stated that the young Brazilian has age on his side, which could, in turn, help Chelsea win multiple titles while contributing with goals. Willian said:

Without a doubt, he has a lot of potential, a lot of quality. The player has the advantage of still being so young, but with great potential like Lamine Yamal, they have a similar style. I hope that he can be very successful here in England playing for Chelsea, he can win many titles, score a lot of goals with the Chelsea jersey and he will help to win titles over the years

Former Chelsea winger Willian also hailed Estevão’s talent, going so far as to claim that the youngster will become a major star in football. Although Estevão is yet to join the Blues, Willian expressed his belief that the player will link up with the Premier League side after the FIFA Club World Cup. He said:

He's a young player and very talented. He's kind of like Lamine Yamal. He will soon be a very big star in football. He's very promising and at just 17. I think he'll play for Palmeiras at the Club World Cup then join Chelsea
