[Watch] Marcus Rashford scores his first goal for Barcelona
Former Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford scored his first goal for Barcelona in a pre-season friendly against Daegu on 4th August 2025. He scored the fourth goal in the 5-0 win over the South Korean team. Rashford featured in all three fixtures during Barcelona's Asia tour, finally getting on the scoresheet in the final game. Rashford came off the bench after Barcelona had taken a 3-0 lead in the first half. Lamine set up the opener for Gavi ,who scored in the 21st minute. Lewandowski made it 2-0 just six minutes later. Gavi then scored his second goal in the match after he chipped one over the goalkeeper to go into the half-time with a 3-0 lead.
Rashford made his third appearance for the club after coming on in the second half. In the 65th minute, he scored his first goal for Barcelona, calmly converting a well-timed pass from Eric García.

Barcelona completes Asia Tour with three dominant victories
The Catalans began their Asia Cup tour with the clash against Vissel Kobe in Japan. Lewandowski, Dani Olmo, Roony Bardghji all marked their names on the scoresheet as Barcelona thrashed the Japan outfit 3-0. Their next encounter saw a high-scoring affair with South Korea’s FC Seoul. Barcelona scored seven goals and won the game with the scoreline of 3-7. The La Liga giants finally wrapped up their Asia tour with a 5-0 win over Daegu. Overall, the Spanish club scored 15 goals, while conceding 4.
Meanwhile, Barcelona Gaffer was pleased with the team's performance in Asia. Here’s what he said following the 5-0 win over Daegu.
“There’s nothing to say about that. We have 26 players, four goalkeepers. I’m happy with what I’ve seen from them in training,” Flick told MD.
Barcelona have returned to Spain to play their next friendly against Como in Italy, which is scheduled to take place on 10th August.
