Jadon Sancho could be given an escape route from Manchester United by Jose Mourinho after Fenerbahce enquired about signing him…
Since the start of 2024/25, Jadon Sancho has found it hard to come by at Old Trafford. Following his dismal form in 2023/24, Sancho was sent on a season-long loan to Chelsea. However, the player failed to impress the North London outfit, following which the club paid a penalty to send him back to Manchester United. Chelsea shelled £5 million as a penalty to avoid the obligation to buy the left-winger instead of £25 million to secure his services. The reports state that the English club has made the player available for £17 million.
On the other hand, there are several other suitors for the former Manchester City academy player. The reports suggest that Italian outfits like Napoli and Juventus want to sign the player, whereas his former club Borussia Dortmund is looking to make a loan deal. The reports stated that the Old Lady are pushing to sign Sancho, having scheduled a video call with Manchester United officials. The report read:
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are also “pushing” for Sancho and have scheduled a video call with Manchester United officials to “understand the feasibility” of signing him
How has Jadon Sancho fared at Manchester United?
Following an €85 million deal in the summer transfer window of 2021, Jadon Sancho has produced dismal returns at Old Trafford. The player has struggled to have any impact with injuries plaguing him. Alongside this, the controversies have not yielded any results either. In 58 Premier League games over three seasons, he had just 15 goal contributions. He was sent on two loan stints but failed to find any suitors. The player has just a year left on his contract and the club is not looking to extend the same.
