On 20th September 2020, Cole Palmer made his first-team debut for Manchester City in a 3-0 away win over Burnley in an EFL Cup encounter. He scored his first goal on 21st September 2021 in a 6-1 home win in the EFL Cup. On October 16th, Palmer made his first Premier League appearance against Burnley.
