Jasprit Bumrah gets trolled by wife Sanjana Ganesan in a hilarious dig

The current India setup has propped Jasprit Bumrah as the biggest match-winner for the team. From the historic 2024 T20 World Cup victory to the Border Gavaskar Trophy down under, Bumrah has proved his mettle time and again. The speedster, currently playing in the India vs England Test series in the English county, has etched his name in the annals of India's pace bowling greats. However, no player, no matter how crucial or well-performing, is safe from trolling in today’s times. For Bumrah, the dig came from his closest aide, his wife and well-known sports presenter, Sanjana Ganesan.

Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan recently joined former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Geeta Basra, for a candid chat. The couple, who tied the knot in March 2021, opened up about their relationship. Narrating a specific incident, Ganesan took a hilarious dig at her husband, which left Bumrah speechless, as Harbhajan and Geeta were left in splits. Talking about how Bumrah had once suggested running away with Sanjana before the wedding plans took shape, Ganesan shut the idea down with a witty comeback.

Jasprit Bumrah is a brilliant speedster with a unique action. However, that very action is known to take a heavy toll on his body, particularly his back. Not so long ago, Bumrah underwent surgery for a back injury. More recently, he was forced to take a month-long break after the demanding workload of bowling across the five Tests in the Border Gavaskar Trophy aggravated his back again. Sanjana, well aware of the issue right from the start, brought up his "Kryptonite" during the conversation.
