WELL DONE INDIA! The Indian team have once again defeated arch-rivals Pakistan in their Super Four clash of this ongoing Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. Despite chasing a challenging target of 172 runs, the Men in Blue registered a fantastic 6-wicket victory over Pakistan with a total of seven balls to spare. During the previous game between these two arch-rivals in this T20I tournament, the Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian team registered a pretty convincing 7-wicket victory at the very same venue. Just like the opening round of Asia Cup 2025 where they picked up three brilliant wins over UAE, Pakistan and Oman, India have once kickstarted their Super Fours campaign with another dominating performance and securing the top spot on the points table.

Despite losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Pakistan got off to a positive start, having smashed India's premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah for as many as 11 runs in his first over. Pakistan ended up losing just a single wicket in the first six overs of the powerplay and went on to score a total of 55 runs. While opening the batting, Sahibzada Farhan looked in a fine form, composing a fine knock of 58 runs off 45 balls that included 5 fours and 3 sixes.

The Indian bowlers came back strongly in the middle-overs as they took as many as three Pakistani wickets for just 22 runs to stop the run-flow. Towards the end, Faheem Ashraf's cameo of 20 runs off only 8 balls helped Pakistan finish with a fighting total of 171 runs in their quota of 20 overs. For India, Shivam Dube proved to be the pick of the bowlers as he picked up two crucial wickets. On the other, Bumrah had an ordinary outing in this India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash, conceding 45 runs in his four overs without a single wicket to his name.

In reply, Team India got off to a sensational start as the opening duo of Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma took down the Pakistani bowlers from the very first over of the chase. Abhishek smashed Shaheen Afridi for a fantastic six off the first ball of the run-chase and never really looked back. Both the Punjab boys stitched a remarkable opening partnership of 105 runs to provide a great foundation to the run-chase.

Shubman was dismissed after scoring 47 runs off just 28 deliveries as Faheem Ashraf got him clean bowled in the IND vs PAK clash on Sunday. On the other hand, Abhishek played an exceptional innings of 74 runs off only 39 balls that consisted of 6 fours and 5 sixes. Tilak Varma finished off the formalities with an impressive unbeaten effort of 30 runs as India chased down the target with more than an over to spare.
