There have been a lot of instances where we have seen altercations between players during the previous India vs Pakistan encounters. Now, this new age Indian team are also showing the same aggression. During the ongoing IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 clash, India's opening duo of Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma were seen getting involved in a heated argument with Pakistani speedster Haris Rauf. The incident took place on the final delivery of the fifth over during the second innings when Shubman smashed the right-arm pacer for a brilliant boundary after which the Indian openers were seen exchanging some words with Rauf.

Moreover, Abhishek Sharma was actually standing head-to-head with Pakistan's Haris Rauf after the end of the over. On the other hand, he also exchanged some words with Pakistan's left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi after hitting him for an amazing six on the very first ball of the run-chase. There was a history between these two arch-rivals coming into this game after the Indian players refused to handshake with the opposition players during the India vs Pakistan league stage match.

Abhishek Sharma witnessed a lot of ups and downs in this IND vs PAK encounter as he first dropped a catch before taking a spectacular grab to send back Saim Ayub. Abhishek then played a sensational knock of 74 runs off just 39 balls that included 6 fours and 5 sixes. His superb innings provided the Indian team with a solid foundation in the run-chase.
