Match number 38 of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 saw Telugu Titans beat Tamil Thalaivas 35-34 in a thrilling clash on Wednesday at the GMCB Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. With that win, Telugu Titans have taken a giant leap in the points table standings. They have moved to number four with 21 points and have now four wins under their belt. Tamil Thalaivas, on the other hand, have slipped one position to third.
With three wins in seven games, the Thalaivas have 21 points under their belt. Meanwhile, the second game of the day saw U Mumba beat Patna Pirates 42-30 to earn their fourth win of the season. U Mumba also made a giant stride on the points table standings and they now take the second position on the tally.
Patna Pirates, on the other hand, moved to sixth with three wins in six matches. They have, so far, accumulated 17 points, while U Mumba now have 24 points in their kitty. Puneri Paltan continue to sit at the top of the standings, having accumulated five wins in seven games.
The fifth and sixth spots are, currently, occupied by Jaipur Pink Panthers and UP Yoddhas with 19 points, each, under their name. The Bengal Warriors have two wins in five games. However, two of their games have resulted in ties. They find themselves at eighth, followed by Haryana Steelers with three wins. Meanwhile, the bottom three spots are occupied by the likes of Dabang Delhi, Bangalore Bulls, and Gujarat Giants with 14, 12, and 7 points, respectively.
Pro Kabaddi League 2024- Day 20 Fixtures
Day 20 of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 sees two high-octane encounters, scheduled at the GMCB Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The first game of the night sees a promising encounter between Bengal Warriors and Dabang Delhi KC. Both teams would look to perform well and improve their positions on the points tally.
Bengal Warriors are riding high on confidence, having registered a win against Haryana Steelers on 3rd November. On the other hand, Dabang Delhi are coming on the back of a six-point loss against U Mumba. In the second game, Haryana Steelers will take on Gujarat Giants in what is expected to be a thrilling contest. The Steelers were handed their second loss against Bengal Warriorz in their last game. They would look to forget the memories of that encounter and come back to winning ways.
To their delight, Gujarat Giants also head into this encounter on the back of a 30-39 loss over Puneri Paltans. It will be interesting to see how the two teams fare on Thursday.
