Neymar gets selected for the Brazil national team, Dorival Junior speaks on his return
According to the recent squad released by Brazil Football, former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has returned to the national team after a brief hiatus. This is happy news for both the fans and the player. In Neymar Jr.'s absence, the national team has struggled to reach the top in the FIFA qualifiers. Brazil find themselves in fifth position in the South American FIFA Qualifiers with 18 points from 12 games. With only five wins, it has been tough for fans to accept. However, with Neymar making his way into the squad and in his current form, they are hopeful for a change in fortunes.
With the player making his way back into the squad after 17 long months, the 33-year-old’s minutes are expected to be managed on a case-by-case basis. Talking to the media, Dorival Júnior, manager of the Brazil national team, mentioned that they will analyze the situation and manage his minutes. He also noted that Neymar has played multiple 90-minute matches for Santos and will be ready.

Talking about the poor form the team is in, Dorival Júnior mentioned that they have continued to improve their performance. In the last four games, with two wins and two draws, they have improved their position on the points table. He also mentioned that he not only believes in his team but also continues to trust in his work. Dorival also assured fans that the players are ready for the important "clásico" fixtures that are coming up. He said:
In our last four games, I believe we've already shown a higher level than what we've shown before. I trust in the work that we're all doing. I have no doubt that we'll play great 'clasico' games
