Manchester United receives a stunning offer for Bruno Fernandes

According to recent reports, Manchester United have received an astonishing offer to sell their skipper. The reports suggest that the Red Devils have been offered £80 million by Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal for Bruno Fernandes. Manchester United continue to struggle under financial pressure, especially after missing out on Champions League qualification following their loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League final. 

The loss in revenue is expected to impact their ability to sign players, while also posing challenges in meeting the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules. The offer to sell the 30-year-old might seem lucrative under the current financial strain. Additionally, reports indicate that the player would receive a £200 million salary over three years, including a substantial signing bonus. 

Amidst these developments, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim emphasized that Bruno Fernandes is a vital part of the club. It is reported that the Portuguese star will not be sold at any price. Amorim stressed the importance of Fernandes recognizing the efforts made by the club to return to the top, and he highlighted the player’s love for the club. He said:

"It is important for Bruno to see that we are changing a lot of things in our club. The behaviour, the everyday organisation, the pace of training. All these things, if he sees that we are doing that across all levels, he will want to stay at this club. He loves this club. That is the most important thing, not the Champions League. He wants to win with this club and he trains and behaves at a high level. Everybody here needs to do that - he will be here for that."

For Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes again had a stellar season with him having 17 G/A in a rather dull season.

After a disappointing season, Manchester United have boarded a flight to Southeast Asia to play a series of friendlies before other clubs wrap up their campaigns. The Red Devils are set to face the ASEAN All Stars and the Hong Kong National Team in these pre-season matches.
