Lamine Yamal continues to enjoy fine form in the ongoing season despite facing a roadblock in the Champions League semi-finals. The Spanish attacker inspired the side to stage a comeback win, but the woodwork denied him any personal glory. While Camp Nou has made him feel at home, the teenager mentioned the top two stadiums he wants to play in Europe.

Speaking to the media, Lamine Yamal mentioned that there are many stadiums outside Europe he has yet to experience, but within Europe, he dreams of playing at Old Trafford and Anfield. That dream might come true next season, with Liverpool having already qualified and Manchester United just one win away from doing so. Lamine Yamal said:

There are many stadiums I haven’t experienced yet, especially outside Europe. In Europe, some of the legendary stadiums I would love to play in are Old Trafford and Anfield.

Who are Lamine Yamal’s two favorite players to watch outside of his club?

In the interview, Lamine Yamal shared that he loves watching Ousmane Dembele and Bukayo Saka, naming them his two favorite players outside of Barcelona. He explained his choice by stating that both have been in top form. He said:

At the moment, I think Ousmane Dembele or Bukayo Saka are performing very well

In the current campaign, Ousmane Dembele has registered over 29 goals and 13 assists across Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Although he missed the early part of the second leg, he caused significant problems for Arsenal after coming on, thanks to his directness and pace. On the other hand, Bukayo Saka has been a key contributor to Arsenal’s success, recording 12 goals and 12 assists across the Premier League and Champions League despite dealing with injuries. His absence proved costly for Arsenal in the Premier League title race.

What's next for Barcelona and Lamine Yamal?

Barcelona and Lamine Yamal will now turn their focus to the La Liga title race, with their arch-rivals breathing down their neck. The club is set to face Real Madrid in their next La Liga fixture on 11th May (Sunday), in what promises to be a potential six-pointer clash.
