Juventus make move for Rashford as Barcelona and Fenerbahçe monitor situation
Italian giants Juventus FC have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who is exploring a potential move away from the club. Reports indicate that Juventus have made initial contact and are showing strong interest in signing the 27-year-old attacker. A reliable source from Italy revealed that Juventus FC has made inquiries about the forward after Rashford returned to Carrington, but is training separately from the Man United squad.
Current Spanish champions FC Barcelona are also interested in approaching Manchester United for Marcus Rashford, but no official approach has been made yet. Rashford has expressed his desire and intent to play for the Catalan club, FC Barcelona. The 27-year-old is expected to explore a potential move after Matheus Cunha, the new signing of Manchester United, acquired the jersey number 10, which was held by Marcus Rashford before joining Aston Villa on loan.
According to reports, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim does not consider the English forward in his plans, which has made him explore other opportunities around the football world. The player aspires to play Champions League football next season, after a successful loan spell with Aston Villa, but no official offers have been made as of now.
Marcus Rashford’s contract with Manchester United is valid till 2028, making him earn £300,000 per week from the Reds. Apart from FC Barcelona, Manchester United’s former manager Jose Mourinho, currently coaching Fenerbahçe, is also looking forward to matching the asking price for Marcus Rashford, which is around £40 million.
