According to recent reports, Liverpool are not actively looking to sell the Colombian winger in the transfer window. Earlier, reports had suggested that the Merseyside outfit are looking to sell Luis Diaz, with Barcelona showing significant interest in the player. With the club having received no expressions of interest, they are expecting the Colombian to stay with them for next season.

The 28-year-old winger enjoyed a fruitful Premier League 2024/25 campaign, netting over 17 times and having five assists across all competitions. He was reportedly linked with a move away from Anfield in a deal worth £71.5 million. 

The link with the move to Camp Nou had been intensified with Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, admiring the player’s performance publicly. While nothing has materialized so far, only two years are left on Diaz’s contract, which would tempt the clubs to make a potential move. A few reports also suggest the Colombian would look to move to Camp Nou in the summer.

In an interview, Luis Diaz called out that he is part of the great institution and is enjoying a great spell. He also applauded his colleagues for being great teammates and worked hard for the same. He also mentioned that he is looking forward to working with the club in the future as well. Luis Diaz said:
