Yuvraj Singh mocks Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill after Rishabh Pant’s heartfelt gesture

Indian team's star wicket-keeper batter, Rishabh Pant, recently presented former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh with a special gift to express his gratitude for the guidance received ahead of the IPL 2026 season. Yuvraj spent some time with Rishabh Pant prior to IPL 2026, working with him—particularly on the mental aspect of his game—in preparation for the tournament. Rishabh Pant has been going through a prolonged period of struggle; he is currently completely out of India's white-ball plans, and furthermore, his team—LSG—did not perform up to expectations during the IPL 2025 season. Amidst these circumstances, Rishabh Pant turned to Yuvraj Singh, who has dedicated himself over the past few years to mentoring and grooming numerous young cricketers.
Yuvraj Singh recently shared a video on his Instagram account in which he unveiled the gift presented to him by Rishabh. Pant presented him with a golf kit. Since stepping away from cricket, Yuvraj has taken a keen interest in golf. He often spends time on the course with former teammates and young players as well. He enjoys the sport as part of his post-retirement routine.
He thanked Pant for the present and revealed the message written on the golf bag,
“Dear Yuvi paaji, thank you for your support and guidance. See you on the golf course. Love RP.”
Yuvraj Singh praised the present, but in the same breath, he playfully took his other protégés to task. Calling out Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Prabhsimran Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Priyansh Arya, Naman Dhir, and Abdul Samad by name, he asked, "Do you guys have any shame? You shameless lot—have you no sense of shame? Learn something from Rishabh Pant! Thanks, RP.
This video of his is going quite viral on social media, and fans are posting all sorts of amusing comments. LSG even commented from their official Instagram handle, asking, "Now, what will be the return gift?" Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant also reacted to it in a humorous manner. It remains to be seen what reactions other players will have to this, and whether they will all, one by one, give Yuvraj a special gift.
