Rajasthan Royals are set to take on Gujarat Titans in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 on Monday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The two teams have had contrasting fortunes in the tournament.  Three back-to-back losses have taken Rajasthan Royals to the second-last position on the points tally. In nine matches, the Royals have only secured two wins this season. Another loss today will effectively end all their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

On the other hand, the Gujarat Titans are enjoying a dream run. The Titans have accumulated six wins in eight games and a win today will take them to the top of the points tally. The Titans are in sensational form at the moment and it would take a herculean effort from Rajasthan to beat the Titans and stay in the hunt for qualification.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals skipper, Riyan Parag won the toss a little while ago and elected to bowl first. Sanju Samson continues to recover from his injury as he misses out on playing XI. RR have made two changes to their playing XI with Maheesh Theekshana and Yudhvir Singh Charak coming in place of F Farooqi and Tushar Deshpande.

The West Indies all-rounder has been dropped for this encounter against Rajasthan Royals. Sherfane Rutherford didn’t get the opportunity to bat in the last game against KKR. Before that, he played a solid knock of 43 off 34 balls against Delhi Capitals.
