[Watch] Rishabh Pant pictures at Wimbledon go viral
The cricketing fraternity’s enthusiasm for Wimbledon 2025 continues to grow. After the likes of Brian Lara and Virat Kohli, India’s current Test vice-captain Rishabh Pant now marks his presence at the iconic tournament. Wimbledon's official Instagram account shared pictures of Pant from the venue.
Here’s a look at the post:
Rishabh Pant has recently been appointed as the vice-captain of the Indian Test team, which is currently playing a five-match Test series against England. India put in a strong performance in the first Test but couldn’t defend a 371-run target on the final day of the Test match. However, they made a roaring comeback, beating the hosts by 336 runs in the second Test, thereby levelling the series 1-1. Rishabh Pant has been phenomenal with the bat.
His fearless strokeplay has helped India counterattack whenever they have been put under pressure and upped the ante when they needed to. Pant smashed consecutive centuries in the first Test match, scoring 134 (174) and 118 (140). He followed it with another half-century in the second Test, registering scores of 25 and 65. He is currently the third-highest run-getter in the series with 342 runs to his name in 2 matches at 85.50.
Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma mark attendance at Wimbledon
Earlier, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were also spotted at Wimbledon on Monday. The couple came to attend the Round of 16 clash between Djokovic and Alex de Minaur. India’s run-machine also took to his Instagram handle while sharing a heart-warming story for Djokovic.

The fans had expected Kohli to be part of India’s team for the ongoing England Test series. However, he shocked the cricketing world after announcing his retirement from Test cricket on 12th May 2025, days after Rohit Sharma called it quits from the longest format.
Virat Kohli ended his Test cricket career with 9230 runs in 123 Tests at an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries. After waiting for 18 years, Kohli finally saw Royal Challengers Bangalore lift the Indian Premier League title this year. Virat was RCB’s highest run-getter and third in the overall runs tally with 657 runs to his name in 15 matches at 54.75.
