[Watch] Jayden Seales heated send-off to Pat Cummins catches attention
West Indies fast bowler Jayden Seales was punished for giving a heated send-off to Australian pacer Pat Cummins in the first Test match currently being played in Barbados. Jayden Seales put in an impressive performance with the ball against Australia in the ongoing Test. His outstanding spell of 5 for 60 helped the hosts bundle out Australia for just 180 runs in the first innings. He picked his fourth wicket in the form of Australian captain Pat Cummins in the 55th over of the innings.
The latter was caught at mid-off but the send-off given by Jayden Seales, thereafter, didn’t impress many. He was later fined 15 percent of his match fee besides being handed a demerit point. As per ICC, the West Indies fast bowler breached article 2.5 of the Code of Conduct, which relates to "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match."

In his defense, Seales stated that he had no intention of hurting anyone’s sentiment with his reaction and it was rather an act of releasing his frustration.
"Pat hit a couple of good shots off me and I just showed him where the dressing room was and there wasn't really anything in it." Jayden Seales said.
The bowlers inspired Australia’s comeback in the second innings as they bowled out West Indies for just 190. Mitchell Starc led the charge with three wickets, while Cummins, Hazlewood, and Webster claimed two apiece. It has been a tough surface for the batters to hang around for too long. In their second essay, Australia lost four wickets for just 92 runs, leading by 82 runs at stumps on day 2. Travis Head is the only batter who has managed to score a fifty in the Test match. He top-scored for Australia in their first innings, scoring 59 off 78.
