[Watch] Gautam Gambhir’s priceless interaction with Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim
Indian fans were treated to a huge surprise as the Indian cricket team met Manchester United players at the club's Carrington training ground on Sunday. In a heartwarming video posted by the BCCI on ‘X’, the Indian players were seen interacting with the Manchester United squad. The two teams exchanged jerseys and shared insights into the nuances of football and cricket with each other. The video clip also featured Gautam Gambhir sharing his experience of interacting with Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim. The duo discussed their philosophies on team sports and the importance of putting the team ahead of individual interests.
“This is a completely different experience because you end up chatting with the players. I ended up chatting with Ruben as well, which was a nice interaction—understanding what his ideology is towards team sport and what my ideology is towards team sport," Gambhir recalled.
“The basic foundation of a team sport is very similar, where I feel that it's the player who adapts to what the team needs, rather than the team adapting to a certain individual.” Gambhir added.

He has reached Manchester and will be in contention to play the fourth Test, which starts on 23rd July.
With Arshdeep Singh and Nitish Reddy ruled out of the fourth Test, India are expected to make quite a few changes in thei playing XI.
