Virender Sehwag roasts Sahibzada Farhan’s documentary in classic style. WATCH VIDEO
A couple of months ago, in the Asia Cup 2025, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan smashed Jasprit Bumrah with 3 sixes. Although India defeated Pakistan all three times in that tournament, Farhan remembered his 3 sixes, and for this achievement, he made a documentary on this.
Following+ this, several former cricketers and experts criticised him for this move. Now, former India opener Virender Sehwag has once again made headlines with his sarcastic jibe towards Pakistani batsman Sahibzada Farhan over his highly anticipated documentary.
Recently, Virender Sehwag was featured on Fever FM, where the anchor showed Sahibzada Farhan’s documentary video to him. After watching the video, Sehwag responded funnily, but it can hurt Pakistani viewers. Indian fans praised the former Indian opener's sarcasm, as his humorous statement immediately gained attention.
Sehwag said that if they released a documentary based on just three sixes, then my entire web series should be released. I have even fired 300, 254, and 100 shots against Pakistan.
"According to him, he smashed three sixes, and that was enough for a full documentary. I joked that by that logic, I should have a whole web series for scoring 300, 254, and 100 runs. You didn’t dominate every bowler, but you made a documentary on just three sixes. I guess that’s an art, a special kind of talent—but maybe don’t show off that talent too much," he said.
Sahibzada Farhan was featured in a documentary titled Hero in the Making, produced after the Asia Cup 2025, where he highlighted his performance against India’s ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Notably, Bumrah had gone a long time in T20Is without being hit for a six, and Farhan breaking that streak became a viral moment in Pakistan. The right-hander had scored 217 runs in the tournament and looked confident against India’s pace spearhead, even though Pakistan ended up losing all three matches against their archrivals, including the final.
Sahibzada Farhan highlighted his performance against India's top bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, in the Hero in the Making documentary, which was made after the conclusion of the Asia Cup 2025. Actually, for a long while, no batter had been able to hit a six off Jasprit Bumrah in T20Is, and that streak was broken by Sahibzada Farhan. But no one expected Farhan to make a documentary on this, as Pakistan had lost three times to India in that tournament, including the finals.
However, India recently faced Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, where Farhan went back to the pavilion for a duck, managing just four balls before being dismissed. Following that dismissal, Farhan faced heavy criticism on social media. Many critics also questioned Farhan's documentary. However, Farhan bounced back in the next match, scoring a century against Namibia and playing a major role in his team's qualification for the Super 8.
