Video clip of WCL owner proposing to anchor Karishma Kotak on Live TV goes insanely viral

The second edition of the World Championship of Legends came to a close with the high-octane clash between South Africa Champions and Pakistan Champions on Saturday. South Africa’s legendary star AB de Villiers made it a one-sided victory for his team, playing a sensational knock of 120 runs in 60 balls, including 12 fours and seven sixes. His knock helped South Africa hand the Pakistan Champions a resounding 9-wicket defeat and secure the WCL trophy.

Meanwhile, a video, involving WCL owner Harshit Tomar and presenter Karishma Kotak, has been doing the rounds on social media. In the video clip, Karishma Kotak is seen asking Harshit how he plans to celebrate the completion of the second edition of WCL. In response, Harshit Tomar, who gained fame from MTV Roadies auditions, said that he would propose to her once the tournament ends.

In case you didn’t know, Harshit Tomar is the co-founder of the World Championship of Legends. His journey began as a rapper and has done numerous songs, involving collaborations with Neha Kakkar and Raftaar. He has now ventured into a new arena, taking on the leadership role in the world of sports. 

On the other hand, Karishma Kotak hails from London and moved to Mumbai with an aspiration of starting her modelling career in 2005. She began her modelling career at a young age of 16 and soon started appearing in TV advertisements. She made her acting debut in a Telugu movie named Shankar Dada Zindabad. She also grabbed a lot of attention with her appearance in season 6 of Big Boss. 

South Africa Champions Win 2025 WCL Edition

The 2025 World Championship of Legends edition took place from 18th July to 2nd August 2025. Six teams, namely India, Pakistan, South Africa, England, Australia, and the West Indies, took part in the competition, featuring retired players. 

After winning the inaugural edition, India Champions had the opportunity to register their second consecutive title. However, due to escalating tensions and backlash, India Champions withdrew from the matches against Pakistan. Pakistan advanced to the final after India’s withdrawal from the semi-final against the arch-rivals. 

Pakistan Champions played against the South Africa Champions in the WCL final with the former winning the match by nine wickets.
