In cricket, every team values having all-rounders in their squad. The presence of all-rounders provides them with the much-needed depth in both batting and bowling departments. A couple of all-rounders not only deepen the batting but also provide more options in the bowling. A spin-all rounder is highly effective in sub-continent conditions, while you would prefer to have pace-all rounders when it comes to playing in countries like England, South Africa, or New Zealand.

There aren’t a lot of quality all-rounders in world cricket now. Having a quality all-rounder who performs consistently with both bat and ball is no less than a blessing for any side.
