MS Dhoni is considered India's most successful captain in cricket history. Under his leadership, India won all three major limited-overs ICC trophies: the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy. Fans call him 'Captain Cool' due to his calm demeanour and historic achievements. However, there was a time when he wasn't known as 'Captain Cool' but rather as the 'long-haired Mahi.' Back then, fans recognised him solely for his long hair and massive sixes. The Bollywood film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story—starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role—depicted his childhood, dreams, struggles, and early career journey.

However, an untold anecdote from his journey is currently a hot topic among fans. During his days of struggle, Dhoni would often visit the famous Deori Temple near Ranchi to seek blessings. On his way back, he would frequently stop at a dhaba (roadside eatery) to eat, either alone or with friends. Over time, he developed a good rapport with the dhaba owner. One day, the owner asked Dhoni if he would still visit the place after becoming a cricket superstar. Dhoni smiled and replied without hesitation, "Absolutely, why not?"

MS Dhoni kept his word. Even today, whenever he finds the time, he visits that same dhaba to enjoy a meal and spend special moments with his friends. Reports suggest that Dhoni even invited the dhaba owner to his wedding with Sakshi Dhoni. Despite the passage of time and his rise to become one of cricket's biggest superstars, nothing has changed. He still visits the same temple and eats at the same dhaba whenever the opportunity arises. It serves as a reminder that success never distanced him from his roots.  A photo of Dhoni has gone viral, showing him arriving at a dhaba with some friends to have a meal.

Recently, MS Dhoni was spotted at Trent Bridge during the fourth T20I match between India and England. His immense popularity was evident in England as well, with fans gathering in large numbers to meet him.
