In what comes as a big boost for RCB, Josh Hazlewood has made himself available to participate in the final leg of the IPL 2025. Hazlewood was, earlier, reported to miss out on the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury. The Australian fast bowler missed RCB’s last match against Chennai Super Kings due to a shoulder niggle.

With Australia scheduled to play against South Africa in the World Test Championship final, starting 11th June, Hazlewood’s return to India seemed unlikely. However, the reports now indicate that Hazlewood is recuperating positively; however, the exact date of his arrival is still not confirmed. Josh Hazlewood has been nothing short of outstanding for RCB in IPL 2025. He has spearheaded their bowling attack, picking up 18 wickets in 10 games at an average of 17.28. With the IPL playoffs approaching, the Red Army would want his services.

Royal Challengers Bangalore should continue their great work as the final leg approaches. Most of their overseas stars have arrived in India. Earlier, RCB updated its fans on the return of English stars, namely Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Jacob Bethell. Power-hitters - Tim David and Romario Shepherd- have also returned to play the final leg of the tournament.

Not too long ago, the latter played a stunning knock of 53 off 14 balls, which proved pivotal in helping RCB’s 2-run victory over CSK.

Virat Kohli joins RCB camp!

RCB’s legend and crowd favourite Virat Kohli has also returned to the fold. RCB took to their Twitter handle to update on his return to the fans. He was also spotted wearing the team’s jersey outside the team hotel while heading for a practice session.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have won eight of 11 games played in IPL 2025. They are currently placed second on the ladder, and one more win will ensure qualification for the playoffs. They have three more games left to be played in the league stage and, thus, are well placed for a top-two finish.

The Bangalore-based outfit is slated to play its next game against Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday at home.
