India tour of England 2025: Top 3 Indian Test run-scorers in England from current squad

After witnessing Royal Challengers Bengaluru lift their maiden IPL title, the focus shifts to the much-anticipated India's tour of England 2025. India last toured England for a five-match Test series in 2021. Four years later, most of the experienced campaigners from that tour have either been retired or sidelined. They no longer have the comfort of Rohit Sharma at the top of the order and their savior in Virat Kohli.

The Indian all-rounder notched his maiden Test ton in England during that game and was involved in a record-breaking 222-run partnership with Rishabh Pant. In 12 matches played in England, Ravindra Jadeja has scored 642 runs, including one century and three half-centuries.

Pant has eye-catching numbers in Test cricket in Australia, South Africa, and England. It is worth remembering that Rishabh Pant made his Test debut in England only on 18th August 2018. He began his Test cricket career with a six on the second ball he faced, thereby becoming the first Indian to do so. 

In his final Test of that series, Pant made heads turn as he notched his maiden Test century at Kennington Oval ground in London. He produced his second hundred in England in the last Test of the 2021-22 tour, further asserting his dominance in overseas conditions. Overall, in 9 Tests, Pant has scored 556 runs at an average of 32.70.
