IND vs WI: Predicted India playing XI for the fourth T20I against West Indies
The fourth T20I match between India and West Indies will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on October 14. Following the victory in the third T20I, hosts India once again have led the series 2-1. After winning the third T20I played in Indore, the host team has once again taken the lead in the 5-match series and is now eyeing an unassailable lead.
So far, the Indian team started the series with a convincing 8-wicket victory in Lucknow, then the visitors made a sensational comeback in the second T20I at Ranchi with a remarkable run chase of 250, thanks to captain Shai Hope’s wonderful century. Later, Shreyas Iyer-led side won a close battle during the Indore T20I.
Shreyas Iyer-led side aims to lock down the series in the upcoming cricket match, while Shai Hope and his team fight to stay alive and force a final decider. During the Indore T20I, team management made some necessary changes. They put Nitish Kumar Reddy and Prince Yadav into the playing XI instead of Shivam Dube and Kuldeep Yadav. After that victory, management might enter with the same playing XI in the fourth T20I also.
After smashing 82 runs in the Ranchi T20I, Sanju Samson once again flopped in the previous encounter. He was dismissed by Shamar Joseph after scoring just 2 runs. However, he is set to play the next cricket match. This means Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will have to wait longer for his turn. Abhishek Sharma is currently in good form, and he wants to maintain this. Ishan Kishan, skipper Shreyas Iyer, and Tilak Varma will feature in the middle order.
Following them, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Naman Dhir, and Axar Patel will feature as all-rounders, contributing to both the batting and bowling departments. If Kuldeep Yadav is sidelined for the fourth T20I also, Axar Patel and Naman Dhir will spearhead the spin department, while Mayank Yadav, Prince Yadav, and Arshdeep Singh handle the three-pronged pace attack.
