After a magnificent 61-run victory over arch-rivals Pakistan, the Indian team has secured their qualification for Super 8. Ahead of the Super 8s, Suryakumar Yadav & co. will play their last group stage match against the Netherlands at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on February 18. The Indian team is currently leading Group A with three consecutive victories. India defeated the USA in their tournament opener, then Namibia, and then arch-rivals Pakistan in their first 3 matches. The men in blue are looking solid and are the favourites for winning the title.

In this match, India might enter with a couple of changes. Jasprit Bumrah could be given a rest to keep him fresh for the Super 8s. Arshdeep Singh might be seen in the playing XI. Kuldeep Yadav also once again features on the bench, and Mohammed Siraj will be back in the squad.

Ishan Kishan, the player of the match against Pakistan, will want to carry his form into the next cricket match as well. He is currently the 3rd highest run getter in the tournament with 158 runs, including 2 half-centuries. Abhishek Sharma, who still has to open his runs tally in the 10th edition of the T20 World Cup, wants to be back in form and score a big knock ahead of the Super 8s. Abhishek was dismissed for a golden duck against the USA. He was then rested against Namibia due to a stomach infection. Abhishek returned to the field against Pakistan, but this time, too, he was dismissed for 0. It's crucial for the Indian team that Abhishek Sharma plays a good knock against the Netherlands and is back in form before the Super 8s.

Tilak Varma and skipper Suryakumar Yadav will feature in the middle order. Following this, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, and Axar Patel will be featured as finishers. Washington Sundar might be featured in the India playing XI instead of Rinku Singh. Apart from them, the rest of the team would be the same.
In the bowling department, Arshdeep Singh will feature with Mohammed Siraj. Siraj has played India’s opening match against the USA, where he took 3 wickets. Varun Chakravarthy will be the sole spinner in the team. He has already taken 6 wickets and is India’s highest wicket taker in this tournament, along with vice-captain Axar Patel (6 wickets).
