After a heated exchange of words between Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul and owner Sanjeev Goenka in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Both of them have recently been sharing a heartwarming picture while giving a hug to each other at the dinner hosted by the team owner at his home in Delhi.

This gesture was captured in a widely circulated photograph, that symbolizes a reconciliation after an animated exchange between the two personalities. This incident happened in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad when Hyderabad batters chased down a target of 166 runs 10 overs before without losing any wickets with the help of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma's sensational innings of 89 and 75 runs. After winning the toss, Lucknow opted to bat first and scored 165 runs in 10 overs with the help of Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran, who played an impressive knock of 55 and 48 runs after their team were 4 wickets down on the score of 66 runs. However, in the second innings, Lucknow bowlers were unable to stop Hyderabad's batters, who dominated in front of LSG's bowlers by winning the match 10 overs before they both made a record partnership of 166 runs to win the game.

Seeing the carnage by the Hyderabad openers, LSG team owner Sanjeev Goenka and KL Rahul, were seen in a heated exchange of words after the match at the ground, where Goenka was seen as unpleasant with his team's performance. However, Assistant Coach Lance Klusener dispelled these rumorsemphasising that the exchange was a passionate discussion between cricket enthusiasts rather than a rift in the team.

The circulated image of Goenka embracing Rahul signifies a semblance of harmony within the LSG camp. Despite the storm surrounding their interaction, both parties appear unified in their pursuit of success in the ongoing IPL season.

LSG will now face off against Delhi Capitals in 64th match of the IPL 2024 at the Arun Jaitely Stadium on May 14.
