CSK shuts down speculations over Hardik Pandya trade deal
Hardik Pandya's trade news has been doing the rounds after Mumbai Indians' disastrous campaign in IPL 2026. However, on Wednesday, CSK dismissed all reports regarding a trade between them and Mumbai Indians involving Hardik Pandya. CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan dismissed the Hardik Pandya trade deal as premature and baseless. He stated that they have not yet discussed any of this.
"We will begin all these things after the season review, and our season review will be done after the MLC," Viswanathan said.
Mumbai Indians also have recently begun their season review and have not yet commented on any trades involving their captain.
"We have just begun our post-season review and will look into all aspects of the team," an MI spokesperson said.
"As with any review of this nature, a range of options and ideas will be evaluated before any decisions are made with regard to players. Currently, we are not engaged in conversations with regard to player trades. The same is only possible once the review is complete."
