After a crucial victory over the West Indies, Team India—led by Shreyas Iyer—is poised to clinch another T20I series. The fourth T20I match between India and the West Indies is scheduled for October 14 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Both teams have arrived in Hyderabad and are ready for another thrilling contest. While Team India aims to win this match and seal the series, the West Indies are looking to stage a comeback and push the series to a decider. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is known to be a batting-friendly venue, so fans might once again witness a flurry of fours and sixes.

In this article, we highlight the top five players to watch out for in the fourth T20I match between India and the West Indies.

1. Abhishek Sharma (India)

The first name on our list is Abhishek Sharma, the hero of the previous match. Thanks to his magnificent innings of 69 runs, India posted a massive total of 223 runs. He is currently one of India's finest batters. Abhishek Sharma is renowned for his ability to hit big shots and his aggressive batting during the powerplay; however, fans have recently witnessed a more mature side to his game, particularly when India lost early wickets. He could work his magic once again. So far in this series, he has scored 101 runs across three matches, including a half-century. His consistently high strike rate sets him apart from other batters. Abhishek Sharma, who also plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, considers this stadium his second home ground. He possesses valuable experience playing at this venue, which will work to his advantage during the match.

2. Ishan Kishan (India)

Ishan Kishan has proven to be a match-winner for the Indian team over the past year. He has been a valuable asset to the squad. He has been performing consistently well in the current series, scoring 117 runs across three innings so far. However, he was disappointed not to convert his solid starts into big scores; he posted scores of 43, 37, and 37. He will be eager to play a substantial innings in the upcoming match. Like Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan is part of the SRH franchise and has even served as captain in the past; he also has experience playing at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. He will aim to play a match-winning knock for his team.

3. Shai Hope (West Indies)

Shai Hope has posed the biggest threat to the Indian team throughout the series. He has captained the Caribbean side and steered his team to victory in two matches. In the Ranchi T20I, he scored a magnificent century, helping the team easily chase down a target of 250 runs. In the previous match, Arshdeep Singh dismissed him cheaply, contributing to another defeat for the West Indies. With winning both remaining matches now crucial for the West Indies, Hope is keen to lead from the front. He is currently the series' highest run-scorer with 159 runs, including a century, and could prove to be a major threat to the Indian bowlers in the upcoming cricket matches.

4. Naman Dhir (India)

Naman Dhir has emerged as a standout player for India in the series against the West Indies. He has demonstrated his capabilities with both bat and ball, beginning to establish himself as the next great all-rounder in Indian cricket.  He has taken 5 wickets in 3 matches so far—the highest tally by any Indian bowler in this series. He hasn't had many opportunities with the bat yet; however, the 14 runs he scored off just 6 balls demonstrate his exceptional batting class.

5. Romario Shepherd (India)

West Indies' aggressive left-handed middle-order batsman, Sherfane Rutherford, is currently the highest run-scorer in the series. He has amassed 172 runs in 3 matches so far, including two half-centuries. Although he was dismissed for a 'golden duck' in the Lucknow T20I, he followed it up with cricket score of 84 and 88. He played a pivotal role in his team's victory in the Ranchi T20I. He was at the crease in the last match as well and appeared poised to steer the game in West Indies' favor once again; however, India secured the win after his dismissal.
